after hundreds of classes, thousands of tests and millions of dollars spent on textbooks, we finally graduated*!
commencement was at the marriott center, where president uchtdorf and elder nelson were the main speakers. president uchtdorf was given an honorary degree... but laura got an award for cutest graduate* ever!
we were very lucky and spoiled to have lots of family in town for the big event. laura's family made the trip from california. we should graduate* more often!
emily and david helped austin make some amazing graduation* pizzas for laura's family. yummo!
*we are taking a few extra classes this summer so that austin can finish up his senior project and so that we can remain employed by byu until august. so while we haven't "officially" graduated just yet, it's pretty much a done deal and we wanted to go through the formalities in april in case we have to take a job out of state over the summer. but we love byu (especially the football team) so if we end up staying around, we won't mind. :)

hey, congrats on graduation!
You 2 are such a cute grad couple. We're excited for you! And we hope we get to hang out a few more times before we go our separate ways.
