Yeah, so we're really really behind on our blog. We're going to try and catch up. This is Laura at about 20 weeks along.
And we posted the news already, but this us at the ultrasound where we found out we're having a boy. When we told Brooklyn she said, "no, it's not a boy, it's a girl." She has since come around to the fact that we're having a baby boy. In fact, that's what she wants us to name him. Baby Boy.
Brushing teeth is one of our more difficult daily routines these days. Sometimes we have to get creative about how to make it fun for B.
Laura tried putting Brooklyn's hair in pigtails (despite a lack of cooperation). We think it's pretty darn cute.
Brooklyn loves her "big sister" shirt. She is very excited.
She wanted to wear her overalls with just one strap just like Corduroy.
We got some snow in February -- we think this is the first "real" snow we've gotten since we moved up here.
Brooklyn wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first. She's definitely not a Utah girl!
But she and Daddy had fun playing with the snow that had fallen on the trees and bushes at church.
Like usual we tried to get some cute valentine photos.
Cute girl!
And we sent some out as valentines again. Brooklyn learned how to make her very first smiley face! (So we kept this one.)
She had a valentine party with her little friends and the moms.
The highlight was definitely getting a cupcake.
We did balloons and a present for her on Valentine's Day.
She got some jelly beans and some little tiny diapers for her baby doll.
Twin cuties!
B also got a valentine present for Daddy. A Snoopy doll, which -- surprise, surprise -- she wanted to play with immediately.
Laura and baby boy at around 24 weeks.
Austin had to go to a work trip in Spain so he got Brooklyn a special surprise before he left -- her very own little Daniel Tiger doll!
Brooklyn wanted to make beds for Daniel Tiger and Snoopy. She is getting more and more creative when she plays.
Our little ballerina.
Brooklyn wanted to play with the nativity set and she put Mary in this blue cookie cutter circle. Laura put the circle away and later on Brooklyn was asking "Where's baptize? Blue baptize?" We thought it was incredibly cute and impressive that she kinda understands that concept.
Speaking of incredibly cute. We are definitely well into the princess stage at the Taylor home.
Here's Laura at 28 weeks.
Like we mentioned, Austin went to Spain for a work trip to help with art direction and setup for a conference in Barcelona. He was busier than expected but had a good experience.
He managed to walk down to the Barcelona stadium and team store...
...check out the Sagrada Familia by Goudi...
...check out more architecture by Goudi...
...the Barcelona Cathedral...
...and the old Gothic Quarter of town with its tiny, winding streets.
It was a good trip, but exhausting -- we were all very excited when it was time to come home!

Laura, you look great! Definitely showing more obviously than the first time, but that's normal---and kind of nice not having people tell you that you don't look pregnant. :)
I didn't know Austin went to Spain. Very cool! Too bad you couldn't all go. I would love to see the Gaudi buildings in person, too; they're just so funky.
