Yep, we've fallen behind on our blogging yet again. Here are some highlights from March.
We love it when these two kiddos play together.
She rocks the shades like Bono, plays the guitar upside-down and left-handed like Hendrix, and has a sneer like Elvis -- this girl is destined for rock stardom!
Laura at 20 weeks -- and we found out a couple days later that we're having a girl!
We'd been a one-car family ever since moving up here to Washington (four years!) but with baby number three on the way and an increasing number of activities for the kiddos (preschool, playdates, etc), we decided it was time to join the rest of our friends and family in the minivan club. Austin says driving the van off the lot increased his dad achievement points dramatically.
Splash brother!
At the park with buddies.
Getting fashionable and cozy in a scarf from Aunt Bre!
Time to dye Easter eggs!
Brooklyn was very good at making sure the eggs stayed in the dye for a long enough time to get some color.
Evan loved to drop the eggs in and stir them around.
Voila!
Duet.
Outside one of our favorite local restaurants for Dad's birthday.
Easter egg hunt!
The kids had fun with their friends from church and found lots of eggs.
We had visitors at the end of March! Laura's mom, Emily, and David came up to visit us for spring break. We picked them up from the airport and went straight into Seattle.
It was a pretty stereotypical Seattle day -- cloudy but nice.
Someone was excited to have some extra buddies around!
We went to the Pacific Science Center. Brooklyn was very nervous about Mr. Rex in the background.
Our favorite part of the science center was the butterfly room.
The kiddos loved it.
There were lots of different kinds of butterflies...
...some of these brownish ones with the owl-eye wing patterns had beautiful shiny blue on the insides of their wings.
More butterflies.
Apparently butterflies like kiwi and mango.
Evan liked playing in a water station -- he could have stayed there all day if we'd have let him.
One bonus of having family in town was that it was over Easter weekend so we got to have company here for the holiday.
Jon and Lindsey came up from Tacoma so we had about half of Laura's family with us, which was wonderful.
Also wonderful was the food. Lindsey's rolls may have been the hit of the afternoon.
Family photo!
Zoo trip! Evan loved the carousel with Mommy.
It was a little rainy, but because of the cooler weather...
...all the animals wanted to come out and play! Grrrr!
Grrrr!
Grrrr!
Zzzzz... (okay, almost all the animals)
Evan sure loved having Grandma here!
The kiddos also wanted to show our visitors another one of their favorite places -- the "farm park" which you may have seen a number of times in previous posts.
B had such a great time with her aunt and uncle!
1-2-3-jump!
Lego party! Legos are great no matter how old you are :D

Love catching up! Your beautiful Easter table looked like something from a magazine. I thought the owl-eye butterfly wing looked like a dinosaur head. Cool stuff!
