ben the fish

we have a fish. his name is ben. he is a betta fish. he is blue and he lives in a bowl. he is a picky eater. he wouldn't eat the first kind of food we bought for him. it was food made especially for betta fish, but he wouldn't eat it. actually sometimes he would eat it but not for very long, for lack of being too descriptive. maybe it's because it was the cheapest brand of betta food and they condition the fish at petsmart to have a taste for the finer betta foods so as to get you to spend more money at the store when they won't eat the cheaper food that you buy the first time. probably not, but you never know. anyway he is our little pal and he gets really excited about the new food. the new food was actually free that we got from austin's family who also own a betta. we won't be taking him to play with that betta as two male betta fish playing together usually ends up as only one male betta fish. anyway, that's our fish. his name is ben.
