grandmas

We're finally catching up (again) on posting to our blog. Brooklyn was spoiled her first two weeks by getting to spend time with grandmas. Grandma Self was the first to visit, arriving two days after she was born.

Watching General Conference with a baby...

...just makes you sleepy.

Brooklyn at three days old. What a cutie!

Baby feet!

Someone decided it would be fun to pull her hat down over her face.

We're counting these as smiles, even unofficially.

Brooklyn loved spending time with her grandma.

It was time for Brooklyn's first bath...

...and that about sums it up.

She liked getting dried off in her duckie towel...

...and getting warm in mommy's arms.

We were so glad Laura's mom could come visit -- Laura's recovery was a little slower, so it was a blessing to have help right away. Plus we love seeing family anytime we can!

Brooklyn got to go from one grandma to the next as Grandma Taylor was able to leave for a week to come help and see her first granddaughter.

Nine days old.

Reading scriptures with Grandma.

We took Brooklyn to visit some of Austin's family -- she was comfy with Grandma Carolyn.

Cute cousin picture -- Austin's aunt had twins about a month before Brooklyn arrived and it was fun to see the babies together.

We had the other side of Austin's family over -- Brooklyn got to meet Grandma Carole...

...and Aunt Lori.

Grandma Taylor got to go with us to her first doctor's appointment with our friend Dr. Wynn.

Both of these girls like naps! She's the lucky one on Austin's side of the family who gets to see Brookies every day. :)

We took some photos up in the canyon before Austin's mom had to go back to Phoenix.

We loved having Grandma Taylor here -- she was very helpful and we're so glad Brooklyn got to meet both of her grandmas right away.

We'll try and do better at keeping our blog current -- it's been a crazy couple weeks on a number of levels and we just love spending time with our little girl!
