thanksgiving, etc

Here's Brooklyn as of several weeks ago. We love her smiles.

Brooklyn got lots of visitors towards the end of November. First was Laura's good friend (and former mission companion) Liz.

Laura's family came out to visit us for Thanksgiving. This was the first time to get to see and hold Brooklyn in person for Emily and about everyone else.

Perry and David got a turn too.

David was excited to get to hold Brooklyn all by himself.

We all went to the BYU basketball game a couple days before Thanksgiving. The game wasn't very competitive (BYU won easily) but it was fun to be there in person.

Mary and Chase and their little family made the trip too and we got to see how fast our little niece Jane is growing up.

Brooklyn loves to look at daddy.

Laura found a blog with a good idea for a fun treat/craft for the kids to work on Thanksgiving Day.

Oreos, Reese's, Whoppers, and candy corns turned into cute -- and edible -- little turkey placeholders.

It was great to have a full table in our home for Thanksgiving dinner.

Laura's dad made the trip out as well and Brooklyn was right at home with her grandpa.

Not quite as peaceful for our attempt at a Thanksgiving photo. :)

We get some of the cutest and most hilarious faces from her sometimes.

Speaking of cute and hilarious... it was fun to see how Livia is growing up too.

Laura's cousins were very excited to see Brooklyn again.

We thought this photo was pretty darn cute -- Uncle Perry got a lot of laughs from Jane.

We'll have another round of photos soon -- we had Brooklyn's baby blessing that weekend while family was in town. We'll try to catch up just in time to fall behind again after Christmas. :)
