Here's that other round of photos we told you were coming "soon" :)
We decided to use the holiday to our advantage and get family to come visit for Brooklyn's blessing at church that Sunday. She was blessed in the same little dress that Laura was blessed in, and she got some new shoes from Austin's aunt Lori that coincidentally matched perfectly.
Since our church starts at 1pm, we decided to invite family over for a brunch beforehand. Austin cooked up waffles as the main dish.
We had all sorts of toppings for the waffles as well as sides of muffins and souffles and fruits.
It was fun to have lots of family visit our home.
And they helped make up for attendance in our ward over a holiday break!
Yes, we planned to match.
Someone wasn't a big fan of the sun being in her eyes.
We enjoyed having Mary and Chase and their girls hang out with us a day longer than everyone else -- we're excited to watch these girls grow up and we're glad Brooklyn and Jane are so close in age.
Brooklyn had lots of smiles for everyone that came to visit her. We are so glad Laura's family could make the trip for Thanksgiving and Brooklyn's blessing, and we're glad we have some of Austin's extended family close that could come by as well.
Our (Austin's) New Year's resolution: be a little more prompt about blogging :)
