halloween

Technically this was Brooklyn's second Halloween, but it kinda felt like her first. I'm sure we'll feel the same way about Christmas.

Laura got her a cute Halloween kitty shirt to wear during the day so she wouldn't get her costume dirty.

B is our favorite little pumpkin!

We went back and forth on what we should get for her first Halloween costume and decided we'd try to find her a BYU cheerleader outfit when we visited Provo.

She wasn't quite sure what to think of the pom-poms at first...

...but kinda got used to them.

Basically Brooklyn looked adorable as always and gets our vote for cutest BYU cheerleader ever.

We kind of went halfway on our costumes to try and match Brooklyn. You could say we're BYU fans or something. Or you could say that Austin is the ghost of Jake Heaps that haunts BYU fans, coaches, and players every time Riley Nelson throws a pass... :)

We stopped by the church Halloween "trunk-or-treat" to see some friends. Here's Laura's friend Hannah and Brooklyn's buddy James.

And we thought Brooklyn's buddy Luke and his dad were the runaway winners for best costume of the year with their Curious George and Man in the Yellow Hat combo.

We had a fun Halloween. It was a little cold and a little rainy, but we enjoyed seeing Brooklyn dressed up and were able to see and spend a little time with some of our friends.

love all the halloween dressing up :) being a "fan" is the best & easiest. I did that last year with the boys as baseball players & was a ref the year before for a basketball player carter. very fun guys!

Of course I really like the kitty shirt, but BYU Brooklyn is cute as a button!
