Time to do a massive blog post. Brooklyn has a good imagination. This is a "flute."
Brooklyn loves her friends. And she loves donuts. When the two come together, it's basically heaven.
Someone discovered her shadow recently! These things take longer when you live in Seattle.
Daddy had a birthday recentlyish. Brooklyn helped make a card.
And she -- with a little help from Laura -- got him a fun puzzle...
...aw!
Laura surprised Austin with some new shoes! Stylin.
Brooklyn helped Laura make a birthday cake. It was her first time getting to lick frosting off the beater.
She approved.
What a good helper. "We're in the bakery!" (she loves an episode of Daniel Tiger when they visit a bakery to get a birthday cake)
Laura made an extremely tasty carrot cake which was a gift that kept giving for days afterwards. Yum.
Time to start rounding up to 35.
Birthday kisses :)
We've been getting a bit more sunshine, but it's still rainy. Sunshine and rain typically makes for some pretty vivid rainbows around here. We don't remember this many the last couple springs we've been here.
30 weeks. T-minus 10 weeks.
Since it's been nicer the past month or so, we've gotten out a little bit.
Mmmm. Cupcakes.
Ooooo. Rocks.
We watched General Conference and tried to keep B entertained. She did a pretty good job.
We also had some visitors! Mary and Livia and Jane came up for spring break. Jane and Brooklyn could be sisters!
Cousin buddies!
Baby-tummy buddies!
All the girls went into Seattle to visit the market and the children's museum. Austin had a lot of work and couldn't make it. :(
Gum wall!
Fountain! (again -- if you didn't know any better you'd think they were all sisters)
The fire department has three new recruits. They had fun at the children's museum.
Easter cookie time for family night.
There were fewer tears this time.
Mmmmmmm.
The next day the girls did some Easter crafts.
Cute bunnies.
Livia and Jane brought a movie that is now on the top of Brooklyn's favorite list. Hint: it starts with 'F' and rhymes with "grozen."
The next day Laura and Mary and the girls met up with our friend Emily and her girls at the zoo.
Aw -- friends share!
Cute buddies.
See saw.
The next day the girls went to Snoqualmie Falls.
Sisters!
It was really misty!
Brooklyn had a blast playing with her cousins. We were so glad Mary and the girls could come up to visit us and we appreciate them taking the time -- and the super long drive to come visit. We enjoy spending time with family any time we can get the chance.
Brooklyn got a very special Easter package from Breanna. She will say "I miss Breanna. She's in Arizona." Someone loves her aunt a lot!
We went to a class at the hospital to help Brooklyn learn about being a "big sister." She got to make a special bib for baby boy!
Some friends of ours gave Laura some hand-me-down clothes for the aforementioned baby boy... but someone found the Cars jammies. Uh oh.
More rainbows!
More friend buddies!
Brooklyn and her pals went to a special farm class at "the farm park" -- a local park with... well... farm animals. They got to pet baby chicks and bunnies.
We decided to invite some of Brooklyn's friends over to give their mommies and daddies a date night. It was actually not nearly as scary as we thought it might be.
Austin tried to get them to play a game throwing the ball to each other. This was one of two or three seconds in which they were all sitting down in the circle.
Movie time! Some wanted Nemo and some wanted Cars, so we watched a little of both.
Phew. That was a long post. And we're still not even caught up all the way... oh well.

Sooo many cute pics. Especially love the licking the beater one and Brooklyn with Daddy and b-day cake.
I thought the first photo was a special light-saber toothbrush. I think I'll market them - I could make a ton of money!
glad i'm not the only one that is having major blog post delays - I got lost in april.
Great pictures to catch me up to date. Loved the car jammies & that she just found her shadow ;)
Baby tummies are larger & more ripe now, I'm guessing. Wondering how far apart you guys are from each other?
So much fun! We hope we can see you guys in July sometime in Utah :) Would be so special. Love from us to you!
