We moved at the end of September. We loved our cool downtown apartment, but with both our family and the rent growing, it just made sense to get a place that was a little bigger and a little cheaper. Now we're in a cozy townhome just a couple miles away.
One of the big perks of moving was getting our own garage. Our apartment building had a parking garage but it cost extra on top of the rent and we found ourselves having to make more and more trips to and from the car when we were getting groceries and such. It's nice to be a few steps from home when we park rather than a few minutes that include an elevator ride!
We were excited to make our new place feel more like home. But first there are a couple stages we had to go through.
Stage one. The "empty" stage.
Stage two. The "boxes" stage.
If you're like us, the "boxes" stage lasts a lot longer than the "empty" stage.
Brooklyn loved the river trail by our apartment. So once we were settled in, we set out to explore the neighborhood.
If you don't have our new address, give Austin or Laura a shout via email and we'll get you updated!
