Catching up yet again.
Brooklyn is always a princess who loves pink, but for Halloween this year she especially looked the part.
We borrowed a cute lion costume from some friends and paired it with a cute little guy named Evan.
At least one of them is enjoying this moment.
Aw.
We went to a Halloween party/carnival at the church -- Brooklyn was excited to do a cake walk. After what seemed like ages, she finally was standing on a number that got called.
There were lots of cute booths set up for the kids to win tickets.
And the kids weren't the only ones with great costumes.
Here's our cute little lion cub with Mommy...
...and with Daddy.
After the carnival in the gym, the kids did trick-or-treating in the parking lot (they call it trunk-or-treating) like we've done in years past, and then we did a little trick-or-treating in a neighborhood where our friends live.
Pretty cute.
We got a couple tiny table and chair sets from Ikea...
...so we could use them for the little preschool that Laura and a couple of the other moms are doing for the kids.
Evan turned five months old in November. He loves his sister!
He's a cute little dude.
And we think he's a pretty chill little guy.
We tried some rice cereal for the first time...
...and...
...he was not a fan. Not quite as epic as the sequence we got from Brooklyn when she was this age, but still pretty funny. The difference is that she took to the food really quickly whereas we're still working on it with Evan...

Hey, you guys got October pics out before I did...
Those costumes looked great on your kids! If you want Evan to be an elephant next year, just let me know. :)
