Once we felt settled in and in some semblance of a routine, we decided to try getting Brooklyn started on solid food. Turns out baby food uses the word "solid" kind of liberally. :)

This is our favorite from that sequence.
She did pretty good for her first time. We did rice cereal for a few days and then tried applesauce. Those of you that know Laura know she has a sweet tooth, and let's just say Brooklyn takes after her mommy. She loved the applesauce. She gave us a huge smile after her first bite... and she was not a happy camper when it was all gone.
We'll post a video or two when we get some time to edit some clips together.
