new year in utah

Yep. We are waaaaay behind on our blog again. Anyway... after spending Christmas in California, we flew to Utah for New Year's.

Grandpa Taylor was there to pick us up at the airport and he instantly had a buddy.

Evan was excited to see Grandma Taylor -- we like saying hi on the computer but this is much better!

As has become a Taylor New Year tradition -- we made crowns!

One of the reasons we came to Utah when we did was to attend the temple with Jimmy and Amanda on their big day -- we were so happy to be there with them and other family members!

It was cold -- but not cold enough to keep us from getting a cute family photo.

One of the other days we went up to Pleasant View to see Grandma Carole and Papa John. They were pretty excited that Austin brought a guitar.

This little guy turned seven months old.

Another evening we had Jon and Lindsey over for dinner and a board game. It was fun to see them in Utah so soon after seeing them for Christmas with Laura's side of the family.

One morning we got the sled out and Brooklyn and Evan went for a ride...

Another day we went to the children's museum at Thanksgiving Point. Brooklyn had a blast.

We had a great time in Utah. We saw lots more family than we could capture here in photos and we enjoyed every minute of it, even though it was a trip that seemed to go by like a whirlwind! If there's one thing we miss most about living there, it's being so close to so many family members. But don't worry, we will be back this summer to welcome home a certain missionary... :)
