so... you would think that by his 26th birthday austin would want more practical grown-up types of gifts. you would be wrong. back in december, laura gave austin a surprise christmas present called "austin's electric guitar fund" which was meant to accumulate some money month by month to get austin an electric guitar (he has been playing acoustic guitar for eight or nine years). this got austin very excited as he thought he had handed over any dreams of an electric guitar when he presented his debit card at the jewelry store when buying a certain someone an engagement ring. well, sometime in early february, we found a really nice electric guitar for a really nice price. laura was just as excited about it as austin, which was extremely cute and instantly made austin the envy of any other guitar player in the universe. we decided that if we worked a few extra hours each week we could get it just in time for his birthday. practical? not at all. fun? yes.
the guitar came with one condition: that austin write more songs for laura. :)

NO WAY! That's way too nice of a guitar! I'm so glad that Laura loves Austin's guitar hobby. Very nice gift idea! She has one very happy husband. Best girl and guitar - his life is complete!
