first day/new home

We're finally catching up on our blog -- here's a post on our last day in Utah, first day (to stay, anyway) in Seattle/Washington, and our first day in our new home. That's a lot to do in one day! Brooklyn was a great traveler, as always.

Here we are! (We don't take that exit because we technically don't live in Seattle, but we're close enough)

This is a little family photo right after getting the keys to our apartment we picked out.

This pretty much sealed the deal for us -- we love our kitchen.

We also love our open living room and all the windows. We need all the light we can get on rainy days!

The apartment was furnished pretty much exactly to our taste -- it's a new apartment building and only one person had lived here before us.

Like we said -- we love our windows!

We like the unique floor plan -- this is the view from the entryway, giving a glimpse into the kitchen and a hint at the row of windows.

We're excited about having an on-suite bathroom and three closets.
