perry and jon, part 2

Friday evening after getting back from Seattle we went to Brooklyn's favorite park -- we brought some pizza and had a fun picnic dinner together.

Brooklyn loved playing with Jon...

The messy barn cat was there like always -- Brooklyn always loves to see him.

Brooklyn loved seeing the goat...

...and the chickens...

...and the horses. We had a great time and Perry and Jon were so cute with B!

Saturday morning we went to Snoqualmie Falls...

...we're so lucky to have so many beautiful places so close!

Neil (Laura's/Perry's/Jon's cousin) and Kelli and Ronan met us there...

...and Brooklyn had a blast playing with them. Perry and Jon went to their place for the afternoon and B took a much-needed nap.

That night we went back into Seattle to see our first Mariner's game.

It was a great night for a game -- perfect weather.

It was fun going with Perry and Jon -- we'd been looking forward to it for weeks.

Brooklyn was a great sport. We tried to give her some pointers: "the gray and red baseball player is going to throw it to the white player and he's gonna try and hit it with the stick!"

Towards the end of the game Austin took Brooklyn to get a drink of water and this was the view behind the stadium looking towards the harbor -- pretty stunning.

We had a great time with Perry and Jon. Perry went to church with us on Sunday and Jon went to go see some people from his time here as a missionary (we still think it's crazy we moved to the same area where he served!) and we enjoyed a slower-paced day together. Brooklyn really loved hanging out with her uncles -- and she also loved the treats they left for her!

We love having visitors -- come see us! :)
