We are still behind on our blog but we figured we'd score some points by getting a post in hot off the press. Brooklyn was super excited about her costume. It came in the mail a couple days earlier and she has been cuddling with "Tigger Halloween" nonstop. She was super excited to wear it.
We went to the "trunk or treat" at the church again this year and had fun seeing friends and letting Brooklyn trick or treat in a close, quick, safe area. She was excited to see her buddies. Our friends the Kovals win the best costume award this year for their Star Wars theme (Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia... and a cute little Ewok!). It's right up there with last year's Curious George and Man in the Yellow Hat.
We also did a quick trick-or-treating in a nearby neighborhood and Brooklyn got a healthy load of candy. She carefully went through her stash in the car on the way home.
We did get a pumpkin, maybe we'll carve it this week... maybe not.
