May is when things really start to get nice up here in Washington. The kids love playing outside on the back deck.
On Saturdays there is a car show in Redmond where people in the area can bring their fine automobiles. Brooklyn said, "Dad, when the Jetta gets old, you can get a Ferrari."
Also on Saturdays is the farmer's market -- where Austin picked up an early Mother's Day present.
Evan likes to be a helper. We potted some flowers for the back deck.
Gala and Rapunzel snuggled in tight.
Mother's Day! These kiddos love their mama.
Brooklyn made some very cute pictures.
And Evan was just a happy guy.
We made tasty pizza.
Brooklyn continued in her soccer class where she was one of the better players.
Hmmm. Is he dreaming in Arabic?
Someone seems to have gained a taste for expensive Italian cars. Look out boys.
Laura helped B get all of her preschool art projects together to photograph and filter through. She loves being creative and artistic!
Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooal!
We love watching these two play together.
Laura about seven months in, two to go!
For Evan's (early) birthday, we went to the Boeing Museum of Flight.
This kiddo LOVES airplanes so it was a real treat.
We really enjoyed seeing all the different types and colors of planes.
The crown jewel of the collection inside is a prototype SR-71 Blackbird -- one of Austin's favorite planes growing up.
The kids had fun sitting in cockpits of airplanes...
...and helicopters.
We went aboard the old 60s-era Air Force One, which is still pretty cool -- it would have been top of the line luxury and technology at the time. The Concorde had been moved across the street to a new exhibit that wasn't open yet, which gave us an excuse to come back later :)
We had an early and warm spring, so berries came early this year. First to ripen are the strawberries.
The kiddos helped us pick some winners and we made some fantastic smoothies.
