catching up with brooklyn...literally

A couple weeks ago we took Brooklyn to the local market and let her sit in the grass for the first time. She wasn't sure what to think at first.

She was playing in her room and ended up halfway under the crib chasing after her rubber ducky.

One of Brooklyn's new favorite things to do is crawl through her "tunnel" of counter stool legs...

...to the aluminum trash can where she likes to look at and talk to her reflection.

If left alone in her bedroom, she'll often crawl over to the bookshelf...

...pick out a book...

...and try to devour it in one sitting. Literally.

Speaking of eating, we got her a high-chair because she's getting too big and too feisty for her little bumbo chair.

She wasn't quite sure what to think at first...

...but quickly adjusted and was happy to have her own little table to eat at.

Coming this weekend: photos from Laura's family's visit and maybe -- if you're lucky -- a long overdue update of some Brooklyn videos....

those eyes of hers! just so familiar! can't pin point if it's just taylor looks or if it is reminding me of bennett in some ways or both. What a doll! Love all the smiles you have captured. Again, enjoyed seeing the new things in the apartment :)
