still catching up with brooklyn

A while ago we put together a "fort" for Brooklyn to crawl through. She loved it.

We still catch her reading books sometimes. So cute.

She is very good at climbing up and standing...

...pretty much anywhere.

She is a big girl in the shopping cart now!

Brooklyn loves to wear her sun hat.

We took a family walk down the river trail...

...to go feed the ducks and geese. We like the ducks but the geese are mean.

Brooklyn likes facing forward in her stroller now!

She loves it when Daddy shows her the guitar.

And she likes to come see it when he's playing...

 ...even when Daddy's not looking.

She is enjoying her new piano toy (mostly she likes using it to try to stand).

We took her to the park to try a swing for the first time.

She wasn't sure...

...what to think...

...about...

...all this...

...swinging business.

The slide was about as much fun as the swing apparently.

Someday.

She did like the chime-like bars on the playground though.

More recently we took Brooklyn out to brunch and let her sit in a big girl high chair. She loved it. We didn't have to order anything for her because she was content with the table.

We love our little girl -- she's growing up so fast!
