One of our local parks has a small area with farm animals. We thought it would be great to stop by and let Brooklyn see some of the animals she loves reading about in her books.
The first animals we saw were the pigs. Brooklyn wasn't sure what to think.
Then we saw some young chickens...
...and a lazy cow.
Brooklyn was a little sleepy.
Her favorite animal of the day was actually the rooster -- she loved to hear it crow.
The sheep didn't look quite as white and fluffy as the ones in her books.
Daddy took her into the barn to see a turkey, a goat, and more pigs.
After looking at the animals, we went on a walk on one of the paths in the park. We love all the trees up here!

look at that path! i love how your "greenery" is a different beautiful green than we have over here. pretty!
Greenery? I do not know of what you speak. "Greenery" in Arizona means cacti.
