Time flies -- our little cutie is 11 months old! We love watching her grow and learn and discover new things every day, week, and month.
She's started pointing at things she knows when we ask her where they are. She's pretty quick at learning new words. Or at least we think so.
Brooklyn's usually eager to play with new toys or books or boxes, but she isn't sure about her little colorful caterpillar. She was terrified of it the first few times we tried to show it to her, now she just tries to avoid it.
She does have a new buddy though. Teddy has been on her shelf for a while -- he was her first Christmas present from Mom and Dad last year -- but we thought it was about time to let her cuddle with him. She loves his soft fur and likes to point at his nose. And of course our little bookworm loves the little book that he came with.
In addition to pointing, Brooklyn likes to open her mouth really wide when she wants something. If we ask her if she wants Cheerios, she will point and open her mouth -- sometimes making a quick "ah" noise.
Anyway, it's pretty crazy she'll be our little one-year-old a month from now -- it doesn't seem like that long ago we met her at the hospital!

Some of these shots look like they were taken at a studio! The white walls and white sofa are the perfect backdrop. And of course having such a cute subject doesn't hurt.
I laughed about the caterpillar. That's really funny, especially when I know she likes the hungry caterpillar book.

I was thinking the same thing...the white couch was a perfect investment for you guys...best photo place ever! And I laughed at the caterpillar photo as well...although seeing her be afraid over Skype is really the BEST! WE LOVE YOU ALL!
