The Easter Bunny made a visit to our new apartment on Saturday.
Brooklyn was fairly interested in her little bunny.
But she was very interested in eating her Easter basket and the plastic eggs.
She also got an Easter package from Grandma Self!
We tried dying some Easter eggs with a cheap kit. The smells immediately brought back childhood memories!
We enjoyed going to our church meetings this morning. We go to church every week, but there's something very special about church on Easter. There are a lot of other churches on the drive to ours and it was fun and refreshing to see lots of people attending services with their families.
We're hoping this photo and the one above give a tiny idea of how pretty the area around our church building is. Lots and lots of tall evergreen trees.
Cute Easter photo with mommy!
Laura spent a lot of time making a very very tasty Easter dinner. Maple brown sugar ham, cheesy garlic potatoes, roasted asparagus, homemade rolls, and fresh strawberries and pineapple. Tasty. There's also carrot cake waiting for us to have room in our tummies!

very very nice. brooklyn is as cute as ever. bennett liked the eggs too. can't wait to see these two together again! definitely a pretty church area!
That dinner looks very impressive! Just a word of warning on the Bumbo, Nathan figured out how to get out of his about two months ago---unintentionally at first but later by choice---and Daniel figured it out a few weeks ago. I know it's common to put one on an elevated surface, but I wouldn't use it on a counter unless you've got a play tray attached (it seems to prevent the lift out).
laura- those pictures of you and brooklyn are such good mommy/daughter pictures! you guys make the perfect pair.
and we ate at beechers at pikes place when we came up too!!
