We're not the only Taylors up here in the northwest! We were very excited to have our first visitors last weekend. Austin's uncle Mitch and aunt Jen came up with cousins Jessica and Connor (and Connor's friend Katie) to visit a comic convention in Seattle. And Austin's uncle Aaron came up from Utah too -- we had pizza and enjoyed being together for the evening.
We Taylors tend to be a little on the silly side sometimes... :) We're excited to see even more Taylors in May for Jessica's wedding!
Laura loved the flowers that Jen brought for us. They're still in our kitchen keeping things bright.
We were excited to watch general conference that Saturday and Sunday.
Brooklyn was a good conference buddy for daddy.
She's starting to really enjoy video chats with her grandmas every week. She gets a little more responsive each time. She'll be talking up a storm in no time.
Brooklyn enjoys trying to eat her toes and feet when she has her clothes off for a diaper change or a bath.
We've tried letting her sit on her own a little and she can go for little stretches before toppling over.
She still loves books. "Dear Zoo" is one of her favorites. Her parents have it memorized in case she's a little fussy in the car. She recognizes the words immediately.
"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" is another favorite. Laura might have that one memorized too. Dad doesn't. Yet.
Brooklyn keeps growing up! We love every day with her.

oh yes - memorized books - a must. it's fun when one day they just suddenly repeat the whole book back to you as well!
