Arizona trip, part 4

Sunday we had church meetings and then drove up to Flagstaff that evening. Monday morning we got started by visiting some ancient Native American ruins at Wupatiki National Monument.

It was warm but it felt nice to get out in the sun.

The ruins were pretty impressive -- and in good condition considering their age.

Like we said, Carter was a really good buddy to Brooklyn! :)

Austin had some fun putting his 50mm lens on and taking some portraits. :)

We had a lot of fun exploring the area -- there was even an early version of what looks something like an oval soccer or field hockey ground.

We went to another ruin nearby that we were able to walk up to and inside.

Got a fun photo of all the siblings.

The little kids were pretty good sports considering all the driving and the hot weather!

The photo of the doorway looks sort of like an optical illusion. And I just have to say Laura has got to be one of the most photogenic people I've even known---even in the heat and wind she looks beautiful!
