Monday afternoon we made our way up to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
We enjoyed being there as a family -- the last time Austin had been there he was about Brooklyn's age.
The views were pretty spectacular...
...and it was fun to see them with spectacular people.
Grandpa took Carter out on a quick trail out to one of the overlooks.
Austin went out there as well and snapped some more photos.
We stopped at a few other viewpoints...
...and got more photos.
Hooray!
Hooray!
Someone liked being at the "Gran-can-in" -- but we were too paranoid to let her out of her stroller very much!
Later in the afternoon a few of us took the national park shuttle bus and kept going west along the South Rim.
The sun was in a good position to accentuate the geography with shadows and warmer tones...
...and we took advantage with our cameras.
This was basically the view we came to see. Awesome!

Awesome scenery! And I don't blame you for keeping Brooklyn in the stroller---I would've done the same thing.
